What is Memory Leak?

It's a blog! One written by a hobbyist game developer, former academic & periodical fiction writer who's invested in exploring what it means to age online as a creative. You might've heard me on First Person Scholar! I have a lot of ideas I would love to take the direction of the site in the future but none of that would matter without a community that believes it's worth their time or money. So what does that mean for you the reader?

At a baseline – every three months or so you can expect to find me in your inbox with a piece on games or media more broadly that might've fallen through the cracks and interrogating what they've left behind in a world that is on fire. These stories will always be free, but for two bucks a month – you can join in with other readers and comment on the site directly to tell me what you'd like to see me cover down the road. While I am old enough to remember an era of Idle Thumbs & Giant Bombs, much of my approach towards this project is informed from sites like The Imaginary Engine Review, Bullet Points and Critical Distance.

If you'd prefer to send me one time donations, I always have a kofi. For any business inquires, the email address is memoryleakhotline@gmail.com.
