What is Memory Leak?

It's a blog! One written by a hobbyist game developer, former academic & periodical fiction writer who's invested in exploring what it means to age online as a creative. You might've heard me on the First Person Podcast! It doesn't take a lot to see that for those who still care to follow these sorts of circles, the most interesting writing online these days is happening through the margins of newsletters & fever dream inspired social media tone poems. My hope is to contribute whatever lessons I've learned about the creative process to the discourse on the off chance they're useful to others in an age of authoritarian capture, neoliberal austerity & ecological disaster.

What you can expect from me is that roughly, every three months or so, I'll be in your inbox with a multipart piece deconstructing a different factor of the creative process – first as it exists in the abstract, then as it's reflected in media, then how it's played an experiential role in the creative process of mine or others. These pieces will always be free, but for two bucks a month – you can join in with other readers and comment on the site directly to tell me what you'd like to see me cover in the future.
